Growing up in rural Nova Scotia did not expose Chris to an artistic world; however, he found a way to cultivate drawing skills and explore a passion for art and animation. After securing a business degree Chris headed back to school for his true passion, art and design.

Chris loves new experiences and does not shy from adventures and challenges. After his first degree he spent a year teaching English in South Korea and traveling throughout South East Asia. He has tree planted in Northern BC and experimented with a plethora of manual labour gigs in the countryside of NS.

Drawing on his backgrounds in marketing, design and varied life experiences, Chris brings a unique sensibility to design—drive to experiment and push limits yet grounded with a business sense.

Though the web is his medium of choice—preferring to design systems that users interact with—he holds a romantic view of the printed world, enjoys experimenting with motion graphics and animation and is still an enthusiastic drawer.
