William was raised in the small community of Maitland, Nova Scotia. From an early age, computers have been part of his life; particularly when he tried to memorize the commands required to play games on his elementary school’s Commodore 64. It was not until recently, though, that William considered a career involving computers and the internet.
Two years ago, William enrolled in an Information Technology program, originally considering a focus on hardware and computer systems. To his surprise, he found that he had something of a knack with writing website languages and enjoyed it more than the other potential focuses of the program.
Prior to his education in web development, William worked in a number of libraries, archives and museums. Unsurprisingly, one of his favourite pastimes is reading. William maintains a wide range of genres and mediums in his personal library, from literature, bestsellers, pulp novels and comics. He makes a rule of reading the book before watching the movie. William also enjoys playing video games, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends.
William looks forward to working with the team at Kula Partners and continuing his learning experience in web development.
