Adam is a copywriter from the mean streets of Truro, Nova Scotia. Armed with a (very sharp) pencil, a pack of notebooks, and a MacBook Air, he writes the words that catch your eyes when you’re looking for important information.
Adam has always had an interest in writing that could be described as “a touch dramatic.” He attributes this to his mother taking him to see a Meat Loaf concert on his 1995 “Life is a Lemon” tour (he still has the program, as well as his ticket stub). From that day forward, Adam wanted to write. He attended St.FX University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English, then made his way to the NSCC where he completed an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations and Communications.
Since then, Adam has written copy for electric guitars, condo developments and nearly everything in between. Whether it’s through sales copy, social media, articles, or eBooks, he has helped organizations develop and express their brand voice, all while building up a wealth of knowledge on a wide assortment of products and services. Not only has this work helped him to hone his writing skills for different audiences, it’s also made him a ringer for trivia teams around the city.
Adam once flew to Ireland for a day to see a statue of the lead singer of Thin Lizzy. He has also ridden a camel through the deserts of the United Arab Emirates, gone down the 8th tallest water slide in the world with his eyes open, and played “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel on the giant foot piano from the movie “Big.” In his spare time he collects records, plans road trips, snowboards, and cheers for the Chicago Cubs.
