Angie is a seasoned marketing professional and has worked in both traditional and digital media marketing since 2008.
Born in Whitehorse, Yukon but raised in Elmsdale, Nova Scotia, Angie followed her father’s footsteps to the family alma mater and earned her degree in Sociology at Acadia University in 2003, followed by a Public Relations degree from Mount Saint Vincent University in 2006.
After dipping her feet in communications roles post-university, she eventually found her calling with a top media agency in Halifax and has been working in the industry ever since. Angie’s clients have spanned all sectors including telecommunications, lottery, retail, legal, B2B, and not-for-profit. She’s overseen marketing projects of all budgets through all stages including client relations and onboarding, research, consumer profiling, media strategy, execution, and reporting.
As an even split between extrovert and introvert, work/life balance is very important to Angie. In her down time, she can be found at the Dartmouth Common with her husband and border collie. She’s wholeheartedly embraced bullet journaling, enjoys doodling with tiny pens, barbecuing pizza, and volunteering with the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. Most of her disposable income goes to art supply stores, local restaurants, craft beer bars and record shops.
