Dawn brings marketing and communications experience from working in many sectors including government, not-for-profit, private, and start-up. Having worn many hats in her roles over the years, her passion is in developing strategy, planning, and writing content. She finds the ever-increasing availability of analytics through digital marketing platforms exciting, especially since it allows clients to directly see the results of their marketing investments.
Paying attention to why the ads around the hockey rink were in the places they were—and wondering why people bought 8 cases of pop just because they were in a cool shape in the middle of the store—is how Dawn discovered her fascination with buyer behavior, which ultimately drew her to all things marketing related.
To complement her Marketing Management Degree from Dalhousie and keep on top of marketing trends, Dawn has taken many courses including Digital Illustration, Proofreading Bootcamp, Digital Photography, and HubSpot’s Inbound Certification.
Dawn’s happy places are on a patio with a glass of wine, on the beach listening to the waves, in the curling rink yelling at the sweepers, or at home with a cup of tea and her cute yet terrifying dog, Josie. Oh, and anywhere that involves eating cheese.
